As a seasoned user of NOCO products (owning several of their jump starters and power packs), I had high expectations for the NOCO XGrid X65 65W USB-C Charger, and this product exceeded them. This charger is an absolute score and a half! Quality and Reliability: NOCO is a top-quality, reputable brand known for heavy-duty performance, and that attention to detail extends perfectly to this wall charger. The unit feels incredibly solid and well-built. From the moment I opened the box, it was clear that everything—from the meticulous packaging to the charger itself—was designed with care and precision.     The NOCO arrived in some nice packaging which showed some nice attention to detail. The packaging style is reminiscent of the care that Anker and UGreen have also shown when it comes to the retail packaging of their products. The charger itself feels nice and robust and has solid heft to it. It feels like quality. In comparison to a 65W UGreen 3-port GaN charger, it's smaller but thicker, resembling more of a cube, while the UGreen is more rectangular in shape. It also has both FCC and ETL (Canada & US) certifications for electrical safety.

    I've found that a lot of cheap dual-port USB chargers often provide very limited output when both ports are in use. I measured output using a USB-C power meter. I found that the NOCO will happily negotiate and balance power output to maximize power to both devices. It was able to push 40W to my laptop while also pushing 15W to my phone at the same time. Alternatively, it could also push 25W to two Samsung Galaxy phones at once.

    If you're following the math above though, you'll notice I can't get a combined output of 65W. And that's the one (minor) downside here - it might be certified to push 65 W, but in practice, this might be a 55W charger from a real-world perspective. I tried it with multiple devices (Dell, Lenovo, iPads, Samsung and Google phones), and I could never get the full 65W of output, even when using a single device. Now, this isn't enough for me to dock a star though. I've found that several multi-port chargers have this limitation. It's a common issue that also exists with both a UGreen and Anker multi-port charger I have

    Overall, this is a great charger that's nice and compact and works well. I have no concerns recommending it.
